YOROI Home

This house was designed in the form of an Armor, inspired by the client's strong connection to Japan. As the client’s company, YOROI—which means "Armor" in Japanese—is based in Japan, they were keen to reflect this identity in the architecture. I adopted the same name for the project and drew inspiration from its meaning to shape the design concept.
The layout of the house was developed using the sharp, angular forms found in traditional Armor, adapted to create functional, visually engaging spaces. The design also thoughtfully integrates Japanese aesthetics and principles, resulting in a home that is both culturally resonant and practically efficient.
